Dedicated to living a healthy and fit lifestyle, and making it a top priority after their son was born, the husband-and-wife duo teamed up to combine their individual talents and create an indoor cycling and boxing fitness studio that serves both the cardio and muscle strengthening aspects of fitness.
After careful planning and researching, the Cromptons specifically chose Ardmore as the destination for their studio. With the dedication to helping each person become their best “self,” the Cromptons, through Fuel Cycle Fitness, do more than just offer fitness classes – they encourage community, give back to their members, and always ensure FUEL is a welcoming, safe, and clean environment to fuel all aspects of your life – the mind, body, and spirit – so you can repeat the cycle. And as the studio continues to grow, only carefully-selected instructors who fit the FUEL mold will be added to the FUEL Fit Fam roster. (See a few of those fabulous people pictured below.)
With eight years of indoor cycling classes under her belt and collegiate studies in Exercise and Sports Science, Jen taught at various fitness clubs (Havertown YMCA, LA Fitness, and Club La Maison to name a few…) and took hundreds of classes allowing her to create a style of her own. Her high-energy, blood pumping, carefully choreographed classes helped her build a following of loyal indoor cyclists who are addicted to the ride. Interesting fact: Jen found indoor cycling when she needed a way to relieve the stress of graduate school and help her dad get into shape following his heart attack. She took a $300 loan from her dad for to get her first certification and land her first teaching gig! The rest is history.

A lifelong athlete, Jeff trained with skilled professionals who instilled passion, knowledge, and an overflowing excitement for fitness. Through his own transformation, Jeff used a healthy lifestyle and boxing fitness to drop 30 lbs and get him back to his optimal weight and fitness level. Jeff continued his fitness studies to become a NASM certified personal trainer and offers private training and boxing-based fitness sessions. Interesting fact: Jeff is a Philadelphia Mummer (if you’re not sure what that is, then you must not be from the area and you’ll have to look it up :)).
